One of his favorite things to do is bring that knowledge to others so they can build the business of their dreams.

David says he has an AWESOME family. His interests are: running, exercising, RV camping and spending quality time with family and friends. He lives the life of his dreams and is passionate about helping others do so as well.

Gina is a Trainer, Coach, and Speaker who was born to help people maximize their potential. Her passion in life is helping others see what’s possible and to believe they can accomplish it. By supporting them to develop the right mindset and to embrace the tools and information available to make happen, she consistently delivers performance improvement.

She spent the bulk of her corporate career at Nordstrom, Inc and was honored with their prestigious “Inverted Pyramid Award” a company record 3 times. It is an award given in acknowledgment of “Servant Leadership” and is one of the accomplishments Gina is most proud of in her life. She loved the opportunity to serve customers and to build and train successful teams. She is devoted to the personal and professional development and credits her amazing colleagues and peers at Nordstrom for setting her feet on that path.

She is DiSC certified, by both Extended DiSC and Take Flight Learning, and achieved Advanced Speaker status at Toastmasters International. She is a graduate of Sander Sales Training, having participated in the President’s Club and The Management Training Courses. She got her BA in Fashion Merchandising from Columbia College in Columbia, MO.

A strategist at heart, Gina loves working with business owners and leaders to overcome common challenges related to owning and operating a business.

She enjoys sports and outdoor activities of all kinds as well as reading (usually while sitting on the beach) and hanging out with family and friends. Gina and her husband David, a licensed GC and radio host have 2 awesome grandchildren.

Ken Sawyer is the Marketing Director at High Achievers as well as a partner in the business. Ken knows that the amazing members of the High Achievers community will make a dent in the universe by helping local business owners do better and build the business of their dreams.

Ken has worked for over 20 years as an entrepreneur and has helped many local business owners make sure that on a day to day basis, they are doing by focusing on the right things at the right time. As a marketing consultant on a regional and local level for hundreds of business owners. He is an expert in helping them build a brand that deeply saturates a local market. Ken’s passion and focus are on how he can help you quickly and simply build a marketing plan that will build brand awareness and establish you as an expert in your field.

In his pastime, Ken is an organic blueberry farmer that works closely with his extended family to share organic farming techniques and best practices to people in his local community, He and his family shares blueberries, figs and apples with friends and neighbors throughout summer. He hopes that by sharing a little bit of summer with others that they will have the same moment of peace and joy he gets from picking blueberries on July early mornings with the sun on his face.

Trent joined CUNA Mutual Group in 2017, after nine years of experience selling annuities with Transamerica and Prudential. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in marketing from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania. Trent has a Life & Health Insurance license and is registered with FINRA.

Trent spends his free time with his wife and son. He enjoys golf, and he is also a guitar player and songwriter. He is the fourth generation of his family to work in financial services. His philosophy about partnering with advisors is simple: Trent cares. He cares about his advisors’ business, their clients and their financial well-being. He’s witnessed the challenges facing clients from all walks of life, and his goal is to find the best possible solution to help them achieve their goals.

Brian Johnson

Moneyball: The Business Strategy

Having grown up in a small business household, Brian went to college in Ohio not knowing what he wanted to do. He just knew what he didn’t want to do … struggle running a business like his father did. He pursued his degree successfully and entered the corporate world. Brian spent the next 20 years of his life working for three different Fortune 500 companies. It felt awkward to him to do just “one type” of work. So as opportunities for different experiences presented themselves, Brian took them. He held leadership roles in Commodity Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing & Sales. His last corporate role was leading the Global Sales organization for one of the divisions of his company.

Among the accomplishments Brian values are:

  • Leading a $350M Sales Organization of 18 people delivering over $100M in growth over three years.
  • Traveling to and conducting Business in over 20 countries.
  • Continual learning: MBA, Chicago Booth Graduate of Executive Finance & UNC Keenan-Fleglar graduate of Executive Leadership.

Looking ahead, Brian is focused on using his broad experience to partner with small and medium-sized businesses to aid them in achieving the growth goals they desire. He is driven to help all the “my Dads” out there that want to make their business work for them. He is focused on driving people and businesses to “Be Better.”
